Vice President - Principal Architect


Born and raised in the Tampa Bay area Sean has been practicing architecture in Florida since 2006 and joined EMPAD’s leadership team as Vice President in 2015. Throughout Sean’s professional experience he has had the opportunity to work on projects across the country and in all sectors. Sean prides himself on developing outstanding client relationships with all his projects which range from small renovations and tenant improvements to World Headquarter facilities over 500,000 sq. ft. Since joining the profession in 2006 he has commanded the ability to work with clients ranging from small business owners to national brands and has extensive experience in commercial, office, retail, restaurant, medical, and industrial projects. This experience includes both new construction and remodel including projects for Publix Supermarkets, FELD Entertainment, Green Bench Brewery, HSN (Home Shopping Network), Bright House Networks, Moffit Cancer Center, Harrod Properties, Radiant Group, The Edwards Group, The Free Clinic, USAmeribank, Walgreens, BayCare, Ponte Restaurant Group, Amazon, and TESLA to name a few.

As acting Vice President, owner, and partner at EMPAD, his day-to-day responsibilities include Initial Client Meetings, Contracts, Coordination and oversight of Production of Construction Documents, as well as aid in the Management, Marketing, and Business Development of the firm. Sean is passionate about all aspects of the profession and serves as an AXP mentor for several young aspiring architects in Tampa Bay. As a member of the Tampa Bay AIA, ICSC, Leadership Alumni, and ULI Sean is heavily involved in the local AEC community through numerous events each year including serving on the Board of Directors for the AIA Golf Tournament each year.
